COVID-19 Precautions

Dear Stakeholders;

We are going through a difficult time as a country and as a world, and we are facing a pandemic that we will struggle with as a society.

As you know, our Ministry of Health announced that the Covid-19 virus has been detected in Turkey. Due to the statements made in recent days and the health measures originating from the Corona Virus experienced in our country, as the Peli Family, our emergency action plan against the epidemic has been activated and all precautions have begun to be taken gradually. The measures implemented are as follows.

• The Emergency Committee has learned the disease situation in the country from health institutions, and the necessary information has been shared with senior management and all units.
• All production areas, offices, common areas, and cafeterias have been disinfected by a certified pesticide company, and this disinfection process will continue at frequent intervals.
• Hand hygiene products, masks, etc. have been supplied.
• Posters and training on coronavirus symptoms have been provided.
• Basic hand hygiene training and poster information have been provided.
• Informing staff Posters have been prepared and hung in accessible locations for employees.
• All our personnel, especially our export personnel, are prohibited from traveling abroad. Employees who have family members or close friends who have traveled abroad in the last 14 days have been asked to inform Human Resources.
• Necessary precautions have been taken to ensure that all employees who have returned from abroad in the last 14 days spend their incubation period at home, and a work-from-home policy has been implemented.
• Before employees are admitted to the Production Lines, a health tent has been set up in an area separate from the production points, and all employees are given a fever check. Measurements are being taken, and if the situation is suspicious, referral to healthcare institutions has been planned and implemented.
• All domestic and international meetings across the company have been postponed until further notice.
• Enabling the work from home of our employees over the age of 60 and those with chronic illnesses has been provided, and the necessary infrastructure has been prepared and implemented.
• Social distancing measures have been implemented in the factory cafeteria, with floor lines marking the floor to ensure employees maintain a 1.5-meter distance while receiving meals. Tables are occupied by two employees, each seated diagonally. Additionally, all staff members were assigned to groups at meal times. Furthermore, bagged rolls, packaged cutlery, and disposable paper cups were introduced at all meals. Our food menus are also supplemented with vitamin C and other nutritional supplements to improve our staff's intestinal flora and strengthen the immune system.
• These studies we have conducted are constantly shared with our staff, and we are keeping them updated. We also request information from all our suppliers regarding their work during this process.
