The Turanlar Group of Companies was founded in Istanbul in 1953 by brothers Hasan, Fuat, and Nihat Turan and has operated in many areas, including the forest products industry, tourism, maritime transportation, the food sector, and contracting. Today, our group successfully operates in the forest industry, tourism, paper, and food sectors with its companies, and continues its investments rapidly.

With its other operations in the tourism sector and its important facilities in the Antalya region, Turanlar Group is one of the first names that comes to mind in terms of quality and hospitality in Turkish tourism. Our group of companies includes Vezirköprü Forest Products and Paper Industry Inc., Pelit Arslan Plywood Factory Inc. and Pelit Construction Mold Systems Industry and Trade Inc. For over half a century, it has been operating in many areas such as the forest products industry, maritime transportation, contracting, tourism, food, and paper industries.

Today, Vezir Köprü Forest Products and Paper Industry Inc., part of the Turanlar Group, operates 23 separate production facilities on a 290,000 m² site. It continuously monitors technological innovations. Drawing on the strength of its corporate culture and innovative vision, it implements world-class quality targets. PELİPAPER exports 70% of its current production to three continents.

PELİPAPER produces tea and coffee bag filter paper, as well as battery coating paper. With its production facilities and laboratories, the company, the sole domestic manufacturer serving a geography stretching from Germany to Japan, supplies first-class filter paper to its business partners both domestically and internationally.
